Large commercial daycares can be loud, chaotic, and stressful for many dogs. At Wholesome Hounds, daycare looks completely different. Your dog spends the day in our home, in a small and carefully matched group, with a structured routine that keeps them calm, engaged, and genuinely happy.
We screen every dog before enrollment. Not every dog is a good fit for group daycare – and knowing that protects every dog in our care, including yours.

Your dog spends the day in our home with comfortable spaces, a yard, and a calm, familiar atmosphere.
Small, compatible groups
Every dog in our care has been screened for temperament. The group stays small so every dog feels safe and comfortable.
Structured rest built in
Rest periods are a non-negotiable part of every daycare day. Your dog comes home calm and content, not exhausted and overstimulated.
Updates
We send photos and a brief end-of-day report so you always know exactly how your dog spent their day.
Daycare Pricing
Simple, Transparent Rates
Pricing is effective April 2026 and may be adjusted shortly after launch. We will always give enrolled clients advance notice of any changes.
Half-Day Daycare
RecommendedDrop off between 6:45am and 8:30am at our home. We return your dog to you beginning at 11am. Hudson and Sudbury clients receive a ride home included – all other towns are welcome at the same rate with drop-off and pickup at our Hudson home.

Full-Day Daycare
Very LimitedFull-day daycare is currently offered on a limited trial basis while we build our group. Drop-off by 8:30am, pickup by 5pm. Spots are by application only and extremely limited. We recommend starting with half-day to find the right fit for your dog.

The Enrollment Process
How to Get Started
Apply for a spot
Fill out our contact form and tell us about your dog. We will review your inquiry and follow up promptly.
Free meet and greet
We meet your dog in person to assess temperament and group compatibility. This is required before any daycare enrollment.
Paid trial day
Your dog joins us for a half-day trial. This lets us evaluate how they settle into the group before confirming enrollment.
Enrollment confirmed
Once your dog is a great fit, we confirm their schedule and set up your account in PetPocketBook. Welcome to the family.
