We’re Eric and Cassandra, the owners of Wholesome Hounds, a family-run pet care business built on experience, trust, and a genuine love for animals.
We’re also parents to two sons, and our family home plays a big role in how we care for the pets entrusted to us. Being a family household means we value steady routines, thoughtful structure, and a supportive environment — especially for pets who may not do well in traditional kennel settings. We keep our capacity limited so each pet receives attentive, individualized care.
We’ve been caring for animals professionally since 2008, working with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Over the years, we’ve learned that great pet care comes from consistency, patience, and really understanding each animal — not just following a checklist.
Our goal is simple: to care for your pets the way we’d want our own cared for. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or kennel-free boarding, we focus on dependable care and clear communication with pet parents.
